Anna Zharova is with the company of the Novosibirsk state opera and ballet theatre since 1997. She performed the following parts on the state of the theatre: Masha, Sugar Plum Fairy (“The Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky, choreography by Ivanov, Vainonen, Vikharev); Princess Aurora, Diamond Fairy (“Sleeping Beauty” by Tchaikovsky, choreography by Petipa, as revised by Sergeev); Shirin (“A Legend of love” by Melikov, choreography by Grigorovich); Soloist (“Sonata”, music by Scarlatti, choreography by Simonov); Soloist A. (“The Symphony for dot matrix printers” with music by Mozart, User, choreography by Miroshnichenko); Soloist (“Roads of love” with music by Weill, Cosma, Poulenc, choreography by Miroshnichenko); Ballerina (“Petrushka” by Stravinsky, choreography by Fokine); Soloist (“Russian seasons” with music by Desyatnikov, choreography by Sigalova, world premiere); Soloist (“Serenade” with music by Tchaikovsky, choreography by Balanchine); Soloist (“Pas de deux by Tchaikovsky” with music by Tchaikovsky, choreography by Balanchine); Soloist (“Who cares?” with music by Gershwin, choreography by Balanchine); Soloist (“Immortal Beloved” with music by Glass, choreography by Liang, world premiere); Soloist (“Walpurgis Night” from “Faust” opera by Gounod, choreography by Simonov).

She toured with Theatre Company in Spain, Portugal, Japan, Egypt, Thailand, China, Italy, France, South Korea and Kazakhstan; participated in international projects in South Korea and Finland.
2013 Opening of experimental Ballet School of Anna Zharova “Firebird”.
2014 Graduated from the Siberian Institute of Management, a branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration on a speciality “Personnel Management”.
Anna Zharova was a member of 2012-2013 season award panel at the “Golden Mask” National theatre award.

  • 2002 Laureate of “Golden Mask” National theatre award. Special jury prize for best performance of Svanilda part in “Coppelia” by L. Delibes, Moscow.
  • 2003 Diploma winner of “Golden Mask” National theatre award in the categoty “Ballet/contemporary dance/ female lead role for best performance of Kitri part in “Don Quixote” by L. Minkus, Moscow.
  • 2004 Conferred the honorary title “Honoured artist of the Russian Federation”.
  • 2009 Diploma winner of “Golden Mask” National theatre award in the category “The best female part in ballet/contemporary dance” (Soloist “Who cares?” with music by Gershwin, choreography by Balanchine, Moscow.
  • 2010 Laureate of “Ballerina” award of Fund for support and development of ballet named in honor of Igor Zelensky, Novosibirsk.
  • 2011 Laureate of “Soul of dance” award of “Ballet” magazine in the category “Star”, Moscow.
  • 2012 Diploma winner of “Golden Mask” National theatre award in the category “Ballet/ contemporary dance/ female part” for best performance of Carmen part in “Carmen” by R. Petit, Moscow.
  • 2013 A member of 2012-2013 season award panel at the “Golden Mask” National theatre award.
