Tour performances in Thailand
Tour performances of the Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre will take place in Bangkok from September 24 through September 28 within the framework of the XVII International festival of dance and music.
Novosibirsk Ballet Company will perform flamboyant classical Swan Lake and La Bayadère ballets as well as a program of one-act Carmen by R. Petit, Grand Pas from Paquita productions and a Divertissement on the stage of the Thailand Cultural Center.
Ballet artistic director Igor Zelensky: «International Festival in Bangkok turned into the largest celebration of music in Asia thanks to the festival’s organizers and especially to the talent and professionalism of Mr. Uberoi. We wish prosperity to the festival and hope that our season first tour will show high level of the ballet company excellence and bring feeling pleasure to the audience».
Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre September 2015 tour will become the fourth visit of the Novosibirsk Company to Thailand. Novosibirsk theatre is a regular participant of the International festival of dance and music; artists are known and loved in Bangkok thanks to performances in previous years – Siberian Company performed La Bohème, Prince Igor, Carmen operas, A Legend of Love, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Coppelia ballets, one-act ballets and symphony concerts on the II, VI and XII festivals.
