The stars of the Bolshoi theatre will be the main guests on 12 May at Ivan Vasiliev gala concert, dedicated to 10 years of his artistic career. The concert will be featured by the soloists of the main ballet stage of the country: Maria Vinogradova, Kristina Kretova, Anastasia Stashkevich, Denis Savin and Denis Rodkin.
“For me personally, Ivan is a dancer, who never stops – noted the participant of the upcoming concert, Denis Rodkin, the best dancer of the previous year, according to the Italian edition Danza&Danza. – He is always starving for progress, in a good sense.”
Ivan Vasiliev has gathered a nice team of associates, featuring Denis Rodkin, an international “Benois de la Danse” ballet competition nominee and Denis Savin, the Bolshoi theatre leading soloist and the winner of the national “Golden Mask” competition.
“Novosibirsk has always been a special city for me, I feel like home here – tells Ivan Vasiliev – I’ve been dancing here for ten years, and many of my premieres happened on this stage.”
Ivan calls his team “a gang”. But the first place in this artistic ensemble is taken by his wife, Maria Vinogradova, who is known among the ballet admirers for her fascinating plastique and exquisite grace. Another participant of the unique concert is a soloist of the Bolshoi theatre – Kristina Krechetova, who is a direct disciple of Galina Ulanova school. Anastasia Stashkevich should shine like a diamond at the concert, since in the media she is called “the tiny treasure of the Bolshoi theatre” for her precise performance and sense of style.
