Tickets for December performances are now on sale!

We are happy to announce the launch of ticket sale for December performances.

The last month of the year is traditionally associated with the spirit of holiday, miracles and happy changes. In anticipation of the New Year and Christmas NOVAT performances are here to fill you with joy and set you for the holiday mood.

In the beginning of the month NOVAT will continue showing Roland Petit’s legendary ballet Notre Dame de Paris. The production was well received by the audience and got multiple excited reviews. Those who haven’t yet seen this masterpiece of XX century choreography are invited to the theatre on 3 and 4 December.

The children’s opera Morozko will take you to a marvelous world of a Russian fairy-tale hosted by a good wizard Morozko. This new entry of the repertoire will suit perfectly for a family night out. The production will premiere on the Second Stage on the first winter days – 4 and 5 December.

Tchaikovsky’s enchanting music from The Nutcracker has become a universal symbol of winter holidays. A family visit to the theatre for this fairy-tale of a performance has become a tradition. Vasily Vainonen’s renditions will run on 21 – 26 December, while Nacho Duato’s version of The Nutcracker will be staged on 29, 30 and 31 December.

Opera lovers are invited to come see Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Verdi’s La Traviata and Un Ballo in Maschera, Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Bizet’s Carmen.

Strauss’ mesmerizing operetta Die Fledermaus will engage you in a whirlpool of Vienna waltz and create the holiday spirit on 28 December.

Mind-blowing tunes of the famous Strauss dynasty will sound 30 December on the Second Stage of NOVAT as part of the popular composition Tales from the Vienna Woods.

The December playbill contains the audience’s favorite classics: Léo Delibes’ Coppélia, Prokofiev’s Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Minkus’ La Bayadère, Don Quixote, Adam’s Giselle, ou les Wilis.
