On March 31 principal chorus master of the Theatre Vyacheslav Podyelsky celebrates his 65th anniversary.

Vyacheslav Podyelsky worked on more than 50 productions on stage of the Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre; among them are Faust by Gounod, Les Noces by Stravinsky, Mass by Bernstein, Traviata by Verdi, Boris Godunov by Mussorgsky, Turandot by Puccini, Otello by Verdi and many others. On multiple occasions he took part in international staging projects in Germany, Italy, Korea; he managed «New Siberian Singers» chamber choir created on the base of the Theatre and which gained its brilliant reputation with striking performances in Russia and abroad. In 2013 Vyacheslav Podyelsky was awarded a second-class Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland" for his great services and achievements in developing national culture and arts and long-term fruitful activity.
