Ballet debuts: beauties and villains

The November repertoire of NOVAT is full of your favorite ballet performances filled with a number of interesting debuts.

Ekaterina Likhova will perform Gulnare of Adam’s adventurous ballet “Le Corsaire” for the first time on 11th November in NOVAT. Then on 25th November this talented ballerina will perform for the first time the lead part of Prokofiev’s “Cinderella” ballet. Nikita Ksenofontov, a young energetic NOVAT soloist will present for the first time the part of Prince in this fairy-tale narrated in the language of contemporary vivid choreography.

The ageless masterpiece “Swan Lake” by Tchaikovsky will be featured with even two debuts on Saturday, 18th November. The afternoon performance will be featured with Denis Golov as Rotbart, and in the evening the evil genius will be performed by Paolo Randon.

Maria Nikolaeva will make her debut as seductive Aegina in Khachaturyan’s legendary ballet “Spartacus” with the choreography by Y. Grigorovich on 22nd November.

Olga Grishenkova will end the line of ballet debuts. 30th November the talented ballerina will perform for the first time quivering Nikiya of Minkus’s “La Bayadère” – one of the most beautiful and spectacular performances of NOVAT’s ballet repertoire. The artist’s personal repertoire already includes a lead part of this ballet – Olga has performed cruel Gamzatti in “La Bayadère”.
