The Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre invites its audience to the «Songs of the War Years» concert which is traditionally held to celebrate the great holiday — Victory Day.
The concert will be held on May 9 at 4 p.m.
History of the Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre goes hand in hand with this remarkable May date. The Theatre opened its doors only three days after the Victory Day — on May 12. Well-known and cherished by every family songs such as «Katyusha», «Victory Day», «Bow to Those Glorious Days», «Cranes», «At a Nameless Height», «Holy War», «Nightingales» and others, will become memories of the national act of valour, solidarity and true human grit.
Lead theatre soloists Olga Kolobova, Yulia Nikiforova, Irina Novikova, Svetlana Tokareva, Yuri Komov, Ivan Gyngazov, Alexei Zelenkov, Andrey Isakov, Evgeny Kozyrev, Sergey Kuzmin, Alexei Laushkin, Karen Movsesyan, Andrey Triller and Pavel Yankovsky, the choir and the orchestra of the Theatre will participate in the concert.
