On December 1 Angelina Vorontsova and Ivan Zaitsev will perform the main parts in Don Quixot ballet.
Quite recently prima ballerina of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Angeliva Vorontsova starred on the stage of NOVAT in Sleeping Beauty choreographed by Nacho Duato. After the premiere Izvestia newspaper called her “one of the most gifted ballerinas of the new generation”, and marked a special “instrumental style” of her dance. Very soon the audience of Novosibirsk will see the beauty from Saint Petersburg again – this time in exciting Don Quixote ballet. Kitri performed by her is always cheerful and hot-tempered, which is natural for a young Spanish girl.
Befitting the partner is the premier of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Ivan Zaitsev. Basil in his interpretation is an irreproachable romantic hero, strong and passionate. The dancer confesses that the part of Basil is close to him, “He is extremely full of zest, with a brilliant sense of humor. In my life I also try to maintain positive approach to everything”.
