The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet theatre revived the guided tours in the building, which place of special interest has become the theatre museum, reopened on 12 May. The first excursion was connected to the national “Museum Night” event.
“Unfortunately, people of Novosibirsk were deprived of visiting the museum for the last 30 years – noted the senior museum funds specialist Tatiana Sibirtseva – now the excursions will include visiting the lobby on the ground floor where the first part of the display presents the unique stage costumes of different ages. In future we plan to update the collection on a regular basis.”
