On April 24 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. NOVAT invites young theatre-goers and their parents to Cipollino ballet for children — one of the main premieres of the 71st season. On this day the Theatre will present its guests with the «Masquerade of Spring in NOVAT» — true festival of spring and friendship.
Cipollino is not only an opportunity to open the door to a wondrous world of ballet and theatre to children, but is also an excellent chance for families to spend time together. Gianni Rodari’s fairy tale about courageous and witty onion-boy’s adventures is loved by numerous generations. The ballet by Genrikh Mayorov tells us this story with an effervescent choreographic language, which is, however, technically very difficult. No wonder Cipollino has gained its fame as «Spartacus for children».
Masquerade for children will be held before the performance and during the intermission: you have tricks, surprises, contests, prizes and gifts ahead of you.
