Highly concentrated beauty
The reigning beauties of Europe have visited the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet theatre. Participants of the International Beauty Contest among married women “Mrs. Europe 2017”, which was held for the first time in Novosibirsk and the second time in Russia, were invited to a special excursion at NOVAT.
“Rarely can one contemplate such highly concentrated beauty!” – mentioned Valery Brodsky, he Director General assistant, who acquainted the ladies from Spain, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Netherlands, Belgium, Lithuania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Israel, Kazakhstan and Russia to the great history of the Novosibirsk theatre and its unique architectural features.
This International Beauty Contest among married women “Mrs. Europe” has been going on for more than 10 years. Its goal is to highlight the family values in society and to increase perception of mature female beauty. “Our contestants are not just beautiful women – told Nataliya Karelina, organizer of “Mrs. Europe 2017” in Novosibirsk – they are all happily married and successfully employed in sports, business. Besides that, each of them does charity work and takes part in social projects”.
This year the competition takes place in Novosibirsk thanks to our fellow countrywoman Elina Butenko, who won “Mrs. Europe 2016 in Sochi. She is a member of a steering committee of “Mrs. Europe 2017” together with Nataliya Karelina. “The excursion was amazing! We shared a lot of bright emotions, impressions and delight! – Mentioned Elina. – The majority of contestants have never seen a theatre of this scale. On behalf of organizers and contestants of “Mrs. Europe 2017” we thank those who made this fairy tale happen for us!”
In the meantime NOVAT is getting ready for the next season, which will start on 7th September with a premiere of “L’elisir d’amore” (“Love potion”) opera. The contestants highly appreciated the performance venues and the comfort of lobby, taking selfies in the theatre interiors.
“To tell the truth, all girls were looking forward to this excursion, since the theatre in the city’s main place of interest! – Mentioned Asem Tynysova, Kazakhstan representative. It’s as impressive outside as it is from the inside. I must say the atmosphere of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet theatre is massive: the noble coloring, paintings on the walls and the ceiling, luxurious chandeliers and even the radiators are custom. We had a lot of pleasure sitting in the armchairs, imagining ourselves in the interval of the performance. In addition to that, the visit was inspiring for us being creative people!”
Elena Rudakova from Omsk, one of the most awarded contestants, representative of West Siberian region, wrote in her Instagram account: “The excursion through the Opera and Ballet theatre was breathtaking (veeeeery impressed)! Will totally come back in autumn, during the season!!!”
