On January 16 the premier of Mikhailovsky Theatre and Honoured Artist of Russia Ivan Vasiliev is celebrating the 10th anniversary of creative activities. In gala-concert on stage of Mikhailovsky Theatre he will feature in two roles – an outstanding virtuoso dancer and a choreographer.
Along with soloists of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theatres, and, of course, of the Mikhailovsky Theatre, ballet stars from Novosibirsk will participate in the festive event. The artistic director of the ballet Company Denis Matvienko will dance pas de deux from Le Corsaire with the soloist of Mariinsky Theatre Anastasia Matvienko, Anna Germizeeva and Igor Tsvirko from the Bolshoi Theatre will do pas de deux from The Flames of Paris, Olga Grishenkova and Roman Polkovnikov will perform the pas de deux from The Sleeping Beauty choreographed by Nacho Duato.
