The video recording of ”The Queen of Spades. The Game” based on Tchaikovsky’s opera will be aired on 9th June at 21:00 on the OTS TV-channel.
The stage director of the theatre Vyacheslav Starodubtsev and the designer Zhanna Usacheva have gathered the artist in a pack of cards, where each character has it’s own color and role in the game of life and death. This highly mystical performance impresses with the intensity of emotions and psychological strain, expressed with Tchaikovsky’s genius music.
The lead parts are performed by Mikhail Agafonov (Herman), Olga Kolobova (Lisa), Svetlana Tokareva (The Countess). The performances will be conducted by Petr Belyakin.
The audience will have the unique opportunity to see the famous performance of the 72 season on the TV screen on 9th June at 21:00 on the OTS TV-channel.
