NOVAT congratulates leading soloist of the ballet company Olga Grishenkova with receiving the honorary title Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
According to the RF Presidential Decree ¹ 304 dated 6 May 2020 the dancer awarded the title “for significant contribution to the development of national art and culture and excellent work for many years.”
Olga Grishenkova graduated from the Novosibirsk State Choreographic College in 2007. The same year she joined the Novosibirsk ballet company. The list of parts she performed with the company includes: Medora (Adam’s Le Corsaire with choreography by Petipa, Gusev, Khomyakova), Giselle (Adam’s Giselle ou les Wilis; chor. by Perrot, Coralli, Petipa revised by Dolgushin), Phrygia (Khachaturyan’s Spartacus chor. by Grigorovich and Kovtun), Kitri, (Minkus’ Don Quixote; chor. by Petipa, Gorsky), Odette-Odile (Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake; chor. by Petipa, Ivanov, Gorsky, Messerer revised by Messerer), Soloist (Class concert to music by Glazunov, Lyadov, Rubinstein, Shostakovich and choreography by Asaf Messerer), Soloists (Theme and Variations to Tchaikovsky’s music, choreography by Balanchine), Soloist (Emeralds to music by Fauré, chor. by Balanchine), Soloist (Diamonds to Tchaikovsky’s music, chor. by Balanchine) and many other. As a member of the company she toured to China, South Korea, Thailand, Hungary.
Olga Grishenkova is a diploma winner of VI Siberian International Competition of Choreographic Schools (Novosibirsk, 2005), scholarship holder of the Governor of the Novosibirsk oblast (2005-2006), prizewinner of the International CIS award Debuts Community – 2019 (Brest, the Republic of Belarus).
