Theatre photography is a special genre of photographic art. It exists at the interface of conventional rules that prompt the development of scenic action, and objective laws of documentary photo essay. For the recent several years several notable art photographers in Novosibirsk appeared.
From November 15 through December 18, within the framework of the autumn theatre festival Paradise-2016, the Novosibirsk House of Actor will host a photo exhibition titled Results of the Season. Like historical chronicles, the gallery of pictures will tell about the brightest moments of the passed theatre season.
These chronicles include NOVAT. Photos by Evgeny Ivanov, Viktor Dmitriev and Alexey Tsiler depict recent premiers: ballets Don Quixote, Giselle, Le Corsaire, The Flames of Paris, Cipollino, Spartacus, operas Turandot, Boris Godunov, Otello, Il barbiere di Seviglia and Aida.
