On December 20 more than 100 children who need special care and support will have a chance to submerge in the atmosphere of miracle and watch a magic Nutcracker ballet on the stage of NOVAT.
Christmas charity evenings is a longstanding programme of Disney company in Russia. This year will hand the baton to Novosibirsk after children’s holidays in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
NOVAT will present a spectacular Nutcracker balletby Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky choreographed by VasilyVainonen. Hollywood scale of sets by a great stage designer Ezzio Frigerio, as well as beauty of costumes by Franca Scuarciapino, designed by Italian masters specially for the Novosibirsk production, made this ballet a true gem in the repertoire of NOVAT. The festive evening will host more than 1000 young guests. Anna Germizeeva and Mikhail Nedelsky will perform the main parts. The performance will be conducted by EvgenyVolynsky.
During the last 6 years the charity project by Disney company has been supported by the Administration of the President of Russian Federation. Orphans and disabled children, children suffering from serious diseases, as well as those ones from multi-child and needy families, traditionally become guests of New Year’s evenings.
