Evgeny Pilipchuk

Winner of all-Russian and international competitions

He was born in Leningrad. Graduated from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (A. P. Nikitin studio) and got a research degree.

In 2004 he started giving lessons at secondary special music school at the conservatory. In 2008 he became a lecturer at the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory; then in 2017 he took up a post of docent there.

He won several Russian and international competitions (Maria Yudina International Competition for Pianists, Piano Duets and Chamber Music Ensembles, an international competition in France, an All-Russian D. Shostakovich Competition)

He follows a productive artistic career, taking part in chamber orchestra concerts as a soloist. He took part in master classes in Russia and abroad ( M. Roctropovich, A. May, P. Meinz, T. Svane, L. Ashlimann and other)

From 2008 to 2013 he had been working with the Saint Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra, since 2009 held a post of the cellos concertmaster.

Since 2013 he has been a concertmaster of the cellos with the Mikhailovsky theatre.
