Dmitriy Sibirtsev

Graduate of piano department of the Ural State Conservatoire n.a. M.P. Mussorgsky (class of prof. L. Kutsenko, 1995). Dmitry began his career as a pianist in 1996, he participated with solo programmes and as an accompanyist in vocal and instrumental ensembles with such distinguished Russian and foreign masters of opera as V. Chernov, A. Vedernikov, M. Palm, B. Yatitch, T. Gugushvili, A. Sibirtsev, N. Usenbayeva, A. Abdrazakov, along with young stars – M. Kazakov, T. Shtonda, Y. Yanishevsky, K. Norvelis, V. Baykov, A. Kiselyov, M. Guzhov, P. Kudinov, M. Davydov, M. Paster, M. Urusov, A. Zakharov, V. Dzhioeva, E. Manistina, A. Shagimuratova and others.

Successor of a musicians dynasty. His grandfather Alexander Zuev was the first button accordion of the Red Banner Ensemble of folk singing and dancing n.a. Alexandrov, made soundtracks for the best Russian movies such as "Tractor Drivers", "Legend of Siberian Land" and others. His uncle, Sergey Zuev - a tenor, Honored Artist of Russia. Alexander Sibirtsev, his father, is a distinguished Soviet and Russin tenor, People's Artist of Russia, laureate of State Award of Russia n.a. Glinka (for the role of Pierre Bezukhov in staging of S. Prokofiev's "War and Peace" opera), Merited Worker of Arts of the Republic of Poland, professor, director (1992-2001) and principal of the Samara academic opera and ballet theatre.

Dmitry Sibirtsev is a permanent performer of almost all of musical and opera festivals in Russia; he was awarded diplomas in "the Best Accompanyist" nomination at 10 International contests. Founder, organizer and artistic director of the "Basses of the XXI Century" opera festival; between 2002 and 2006 – musical director of Irina Arkhipova Foundation projects. Juryman of the International singers contest n.a. Glinka (Chelyabinsk, 2005), Open All-Russian young performers contest named "Sun Shines for Everyone" (Sochi, 2006; Moscow, 2007). Dmitry toured in more than 150 Russian cities, as well as in USA, Canada, South Korea, Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Sweden, Poland, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine. Participated in numerous CD recordings as an accompanyist (with M. Paster, M. Davydov, A. Antonov). Since 2006 Dmitry works as artistic director and producer of the "Tenors of the XXI Century" art project in which he also participates as a pianist and singer.

Dmitry has been granted a "National Heritage" award for cultural impact and successful producing activity; a golden medal for "Worship to the Arts"; decorated with an award of Moscow in the domain of literature and arts for propaganda of opera classics in the framework of the "Tenors of the XXI Century" art project (2013).

Since 2012 – director of the New Opera theatre n.a. E.V. Kolobova in Moscow.

Dmitry Sibirtsev is the author and participant (as a pianist) of chamber music festivals in the Mirror Foyer of the New Opera: "The Age of Sviridov" dedicated to 100th anniversary of the composers birth (2015), annual festival "Vocal Crossroads" (since 2014). Dmitry also organised and participated in such concerts as "Vocla music of Russian composers", an evening dedicated to the 200th anniversary of A.S. Dragomyzhsky's birth, "All Songs by Verdi" (in the framework of the "Two masters – two worlds" International festival), "Passion", "Detskaya".
