Classic opera plot cannot do without a vivid love story, romantic, sublime, full of emotions running high, clashing interests and tempers. Opera world presented us with amazing duets: full of love, lyricism, drama and irony. The color scheme is so diverse for a reason – duet always represents relationship of two characters developing in a certain circumstance, storyline. However, the concept of duet is common to other genres besides opera – oratorio, cantata, operette.
The new concert programme will offer all the variety of duet scenes, emotions and deep feelings – from love to hate.
The programme includes works of Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Korngold performed by NOVAT soloists.The theatre’s symphonic orchestra will take part in the concert as well. Musical Director and conductor – Dmitri Jurowski.
