A new position has been introduced in the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Svetlana Naborshchikova has become a Deputy General Director in charge of PR issues.
Her responsibilities will include forming, realizing and developing information policy of the Theatre; communication with mass media, city and regional administrative bodies and public organizations.
Svetlana Naborshchikova is a musicologist, critic, journalist, editor. She also is a Doctor of Arts, Professor of the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. During 2009-2014 Naborshchikova was the head of culture department of the “Izvestia” newspaper. She is also the author of monograph “Balanchine and Stravinsky: see the music, hear the dance” (2010); educational courses “Musical culture of ballet”, “Contemporary ballet theatre”, “Ballet repertoire” and numerous articles about music, ballet, opera, cinematograph, fine art and current issues of artistic practices.
