The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (NOVAT) has begun a carpet flooring laying. High quality flooring has been ordered specially for NOVAT. Carpet has sound absorbing properties, it masks limitations and accelerates advantages of the interior.
“The first level’s floor is made of claydite, which is inappropriate for theatre interior. Walking on this new carpet flooring is a true pleasure. Ladies will now be able to wear fancy high-heel shoes without damaging them. There is a friso on the second level walls which is protected by the government and it is made in complex shades of blue color. Blue flooring pinpoints the color of the
historical friso. And finally, carpet flooring grants aesthetic perfection to the theatre interior” — head of RosInterierRekonstruktsia Nikita Arkhipov noted.
Total area of the carpet flooring in halls and foyers is 3270 square meters.
