General Director Vladimir Kekhman has signed an order of establishing “NOVAT opera/ballet” foundation non-profit organization of the Novosibirsk opera and ballet theatre (NOVAT).
Cultural heritage — opera, ballet, symphony music — preservation and promotion will become the main statutory objective of the Foundation.
Honoured Cultural Worker of the RF Valery Brodsky is appointed to the position of the “NOVAT opera/ballet” Foundation NPO Director.
Valery Arkadyevich Brodsky was Novosibirsk state academic opera and ballet theatre Director in 1985-1992. He then held senior executive positions in the Novosibirsk Mayor’s Office and administration of the Novosibirsk Oblast. Valery Brodsky was Head of Department of Culture of the Novosibirsk Oblast administration in 2004-2008. 2008-2012 — Chief expert on culture in the Novosibirsk Oblast administration. 2012 — May of 2015 — Assistant to NGATOiB Director.
