Star-spangled January at NOVAT

In January 2021 you are invited to see NOVAT shows starring brilliant Russian artists highly demanded at the best venues of the world. Opera and ballet stars will take part in performances on the Main stage of NOVAT.

Meet the stars of January shows:

  • 4th January world opera star Vasilisa Berzhanskaya will perform her best part, Rosina in The Barber of Seville; later 8th January she will perform the title role in Dido and Aeneas.
  • 5th and 6th January the Principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet Vladislav Lantratov will take part in George Balanchine’s three-act ballet Jewels. The dancer will perform the leading roles in Rubies 5th January and Emeralds 6th January evening show. The masterful Principal of the Mikhailovsky Ballet Viktor Lebedev will take part in Diamonds on 5th and 6th January.
  • Do not miss the opportunity to see the amazing premiere of the 76th season, La Bayadère ballet starring world famous artists. The brilliant Ivan Vasiliev will perform Solor on 9th January, his birthday; Nikiya’s part will be rendered by the Principal of the London Royal Ballet company Natalia Osipova. The same performance on the 8th January will star the Mikhailovsky Ballet Principal Viktor Lebedev as Solor; soloist with the Mikhailovsky Theatre Valeria Zapasnikova will perform Gamzatti in La Bayadère on 8th and 9th January.
  • 16th January Principal of the London Royal Ballet company Natalia Osipova and Principal of the Bolshoi Ballet Denis Rodkin will perform leading parts in classical ballet masterpiece Giselle, ou les Wilis.
  • 17th January the leading role in famous Carmen opera will be performed by a Russian opera star, soloist with The Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow Anastasia Lepeshinskaya.
  • 23rd January the incredible Ivan Vasiliev, amazing Principal with the Mikhailovsky Theatre will perform for the first time the part of Franz in cheerful Coppélia ballet.
  • 28th January the Spartacus ballet cast will include the star couple of the Bolshoi Ballet – soloist Maria Alexandrova as Aegina and Vladislav Lantratov as Crassus.
